کیسے کہیں کہ وہ شخص کبھی  ہمارا نہ تھا

یہ اور بات ہے کہ  ہماری نظروں میں وہ صرف ہمارا رہا تھا

کچھ دن تمہاری محبت کا مان رہا  تھا

اب اس محبت کا برہم بھی صرف ہمارا نہ تھا

سمجھا اس کو بہت مختلف دوسروں سے  تھا

اب مان بیٹھا ہے دل  یہ  بھی وقت کی رفتار تھا

آنکھوں  پہ کھل گیا   ہے جو پردہ کمال تھا

محبت بھی کی ہم سے اور اس میں شرک  بھی لاجواب تھا

تم  ہی عثمان صرف اس کے لیے کیوں پرخلوص تھے

ورنہ یہ شخص تو ہر کسی کا دل وجان تھا
